The Kootenay ICE are back home after going 0-3-0 in Tri City.
As far as wins-and-losses are concerned the ICE have always struggled in this tournament as they were playing teams who started their training camps 1-2 weeks earlier than the ICE and are playing their 4th and 5th preseason games.
The club is really looking forward to working on their team systems with practices Monday-Thursday and then will play exhibition games against Lethbridge (Friday evening) and Calgary (Sunday afternoon) in the Crowsnest Pass.
The ICE will not make any cuts to the roster and will remain with 27 players (3 goalies, 9 defensemen, 15 forwards).
5 will be leaving the club this week to attend NHL camps, Rinat Valiev and Luke Philp to Toronto's camp, Jaedon Deschenau to St. Louis, Tanner Faith to Minnesota and Jon Martin to Vancouver.
