Edmonton, Alb – Edmonton Oil Kings goalie Tristan Jarry made 20 saves in a 2-0 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Friday night.
The Oil Kings (16-5-2-3) scored the only goal of the first period with TJ Foster in the low slot scoring with a shot that deflected through the goalies legs.
Late in the second period Henrik Samuelsson scored on a breakaway with a backhand deke.
The ICE (8-16-1-0) have been shutout twice this season.
The ICE will visit Calgary on Sunday afternoon.
