Cranbrook, BC – The Medicine Hat Tigers scored 3 goals in the last 5 minutes of the third period in a 3-1 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Friday night.
The ICE (36-24-4-4) opened the scoring late in the firs period as Brock Montgomery crashed to the slot for a shot that missed the net and it came off the end boards and Joe Antilla was near the post to flip the puck into the net.
Brock Montgomery extended his point streak to 4 games (2-2-4).
The Tigers (41-22-2-3) tied the game late in the third period on a 2-on-1 break with Emerson Etem scoring with a wrist shot high on the stick side.
The Tigers took a 2-1 lead on a powerplay goal on another 2-on-1 break and Emerson Etem scored with another high shot on the stick side.
