Swift Current, Sask – Former Kootenay ICE players Christian Magnus and Adam Rossignol combined for 3 goals in a 4-3 win for the Swift Current Broncos in WHL action on Tuesday night.
The Broncos (25-35-2-6) scored late in the first period as Graham Black was behind the net and fed Ryan Moser in the low slot and scored with a backhand shot along the ice.
The ICE (35-23-4-4) scored a buzzer beater before the period ended as Elgin Pearce was near the crease to bang in a loose puck for a goal with less than 1 second left.
Going into the game Elgin Pearce had 1 goal in his last 22 games and his last goal was January 28th in Spokane, a stretch of 13 games without a goal.
Max Reinhart extended his point streak to 4 games with an assist on the goal.
