Lethbridge, Alb – The Lethbridge Hurricanes scored 3 goals in the first and second periods in a 6-1 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Saturday night.
The Hurricanes (16-14-1-4) scored their Teddy Bear goal early in the first period with Brady Ramsay near the crease to lift the puck into the net.
Lethbridge made it 2-0 on the powerplay with Graham Hood near the crease for a one time shot.
On another powerplay Lethbridge made it 3-0 with Jay Merkley alone in the slot for the goal.
In the second period the ICE (9-19-1-0) got on the board with a powerplay goal from Luke Philp.
Lethbridge replied with 3 straight goals from Jaimen Yakubowski, Brady Ramsay and Russell Maxwell.
