Reid Duke scored the game winning goal and added an assist to lead Team Alberta to a 10-4 win over Team British Columbia in the Gold medal game at the 2011 Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup from Moose Jaw, SK. This is the second time that Team Alberta has won this tournament, which is in its second year of existence. Team Alberta also defeated Team Manitoba in the inaugural event in 2009 in Blackfalds, AB.
