Cranbrook, BC – Collin Shirley scored the winning goal late in the 3rd period and Wyatt Hoflin made 35 saves as Blue beat White 3-2 in the Kootenay ICE Intrasquad Game on Sunday afternoon.
Blue led 2-0 going into the 3rd period on goals by Luke Philp and Jakub Prochazka.
White tied the game with markers from Troy Murray and Zachary Zborosky.
Goalies Wyan Hoflin (35 saves) and Mackenzie Skapski (31 saves) went the distance for both clubs.
The ICE used mainly the younger players with no over-agers in the line-up and Eric Benoit was the only 19-year-old.
The game marked the conclusion of Training Camp with the club now preparing for its first preseason game on Thursday.
The cub has reduced their roster for the exhibition season and it will be announced later today or tomorrow.
