The Kootenay ICE will host Lethbridge tonight in the first of 6 meetings between the clubs.
Last season the ICE won the season series 4-2-0-0 with the Hurricanes winning the last 2 meetings.
Both clubs are 1-2-0-0.
ICE beat Regina 4-1 last night, the Hurricanes lost 3-0 to Edmonton on Wednesday.
Lethbridge goalie Ty Rimmer made his 1st WHL start against the ICE on October 9, 2009 while with Brandon and lost 7-3. Last year with Tri City he was the West nominee for WHL Goalie of the Year.
2nd year defenseman Albin Blomqvist and rookie forward Axel Blomqvist are the younger brothers of Anton Blomqvist who is with the Columbus Blue Jackets organization.
