Reinhart was awarded the Male Junior Athlete of the Year, which recognizes extraordinary athletic performance by a male junior athlete who is competing on a team or in an individual sport in BC. He won the Four Broncos Memorial Trophy for the Western Hockey League’s (WHL) Player of the Year and also received the Brad Hornung Trophy, the league’s most sportsmanlike player. Reinhart was also voted as a first team all-star and set a team record for points as captain of the Kootenay Ice, with 36 goals and 69 assists for a total 105 points. He most recently won gold with Team Canada at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship.
