Canada posted another lopsided win, getting a combined 11 points from its top line of John McFarland (Sudbury), Tyler Seguin (Plymouth) and Tyler Toffoli (Ottawa) in a 7-1 win over Slovakia on Sunday.
Erik Gudbranson (Kingston), Brett Connolly (Prince George), Quinton Howden (Moose Jaw) and Ryan Spooner (Peterborough) also scored.
They open the tournament against Sweden on Tuesday.
John McFarland (Sudbury) will be the captain while Brandon Gormley (Moncton) and Erik Gudbranson (Kingston) will serve as alternate captains.
