ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter tonight's action with a 37-29-1-3 record (21-12-1-1 at home, 16-17-0-2 on the road, 6-1 in overtime, 3-3 in shootouts)... KOOTENAY has clinched a playoff berth for the 17th consecutive season, the longest active streak in the WHL...The ICE will also finish with a .500 or better record for a WHL record 16th straight season...Following tonight's contest KOOTENAY will conclude the regular season at CALGARY March 22.

STREAK: TYLER KING (0-6-6) and MATT ALFARO (3-1-4) have recorded points in each of their last three games.

INJURY: Defenseman TANNER FAITH will be out of the ICE lineup three to five months with an upper body injury.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 70 games of the 2013-14 season the ICE were 39-27-2-2, after 71 games 39-27-2-3 and after 72 games 39-28-2-3.
