Cranbrook, BC – Lethbridge goalie Juha Metsola made 29 saves in a 1-0 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Sunday night.
Hurricanes’ rookie defenseman Brandon Yadlowski scored his 1st career WHL goal on the power-play with a wrist shot from the top of the circle.
The crowd was the smallest to ever see a regular season game at the Rec-Plex.
ICE will visit Red Deer on Tuesday and then host Calgary on Friday.
