Spokane 5 Kootenay 1

Chiefs forward Levko Koper scored 3 goals in a 5-1 win over the Kootenay ICE. The lone ICE goal came on the power-play from Tylan Stephens. The score was not indicative of the play as the ICE played a strong game but the Chiefs scored 2 nice power-play goals and also got a couple of generous bounces around the crease. The ICE had another one of those games where they failed to capitilize on their chances. Steele Boomer was stopped on a penalty shot late in the 1st period.
Monday the ICE visit Calgary and then will host the Hitmen on Friday.
