ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 24-20-2-2 record (13-10-0-2 at home, 11-10-2-0 on the road, 0-2 in overtime, 3-2 in shootouts) and in seventh place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE...The ICE will play four of their next five games at home.

JERSEY OFF THE BACK NIGHT: When the ICE host the MOOSE JAW WARRIORS on January 25 it will be JERSEY OFF THE BACK NIGHT...Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to bid on the white RBK Edge Jerseys...The winning bid on each jersey will get to meet the player after the game and will receive their jersey at the conclusion of the playoffs...All money raised will go to the KOOTENAY ICE EDUCATION FUND.

SAM REINHART BOBBLEHEADS: On February 1 when KOOTENAY host the CALGARY HITMEN the first 950 fans in the door will have the opportunity to get a SAM REINHART BOBBLEHEAD courtesy of EAST KOOTENAY FOUNDATION FOR HEALTH...The bobbleheads will be handed out in an orderly fashion with a lineup of first come, first available based on one per person per paid ticket (no exceptions)...The line up and distribution will take place at the former skate sharpening location (inside rink

DID YOU KNOW: KOOTENAY is second in the WHL in overall power play (24.7%) and first on the road (28.9%)...The ICE are 13th in the League in overall penalty killing (78.6%)…JAEDON DESCHENEAU, who is tied for second in the WHL in goals scored with 30, is tied for fourth in the League in points with 62 (30-32-62)...SAM REINHART is tied for eighth in the League in assists with 36...LANDON PEEL needs to play in one more game to reach 100 in his WHL career...JAGGER DIRK needs to record two more assists to reach 100 in his WHL career...LUKE PHILP needs to record four more points to reach 100 in his WHL career
