Kootenay @ Everett Game #23

The Kootenay ICE will visit Everett tonight in the only meeting of the season.
Last year in Cranbrook the ICE won 4-2.
The last meeting in Everett was November 30/10 and the ICE won 3-1.
The ICE lost 4-2 in Portland last night and have dropped 2 in a row.
The Silvertips lost 3-1 in Spokane on Wednesday.
This is the first game for former Silvertips Jordyn Boyd and Zach McPhee against Everett.
Everett defenseman Ben Betker is a native of Cranbrook and was acquired from Portland in the Seth Jones trade.
Everett Head Coach Mark Ferner was the Kamloops coach when they played the ICE in the 2005 playoffs which Kootenay won 4-games-to-2.
Everett's goalie coach is former ICE netminder Taylor Dakers who is 2nd in career wins with 82 (85 Nathan Lieuwen), 1st with 18 career shutouts and is tied with Jeff Glass for the team record of 8 shutouts in one season. His is 2nd in ICE all-time GAA and save %.
ICE injuries – Brock Montgomery upper body 1-2 weeks, Spencer Wand upper body 1-2 weeks.
Silvertips injuries – Ryan Harrison lower body week-to-week, Ryan Murray upper body indefinite, Josh Winquist illness day-to-day.
