ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 33-22-2-2 record (18-10-0-2 at home, 15-12-2-0 on the road, 0-2 in overtime, 4-2 in shootouts) and in fifth place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE...KOOTENAY is 15-6-0-0 since the Christmas Break...The ICE will play 11 of their final 13 regular season games against the EASTERN CONFERENCE.

PASTA & CHICKEN BUFFET: The KOOTENAY ICE FAN CLUB is hosting a PASTA AND CHICKEN BUFFET on Sunday, March 9 at the HERITAGE INN...The dinner will be attended by the KOOTENAY ICE PLAYERS and will start with cocktails at 4:30 pm...Tickets are $30.00 and are available during home games at the FAN CLUB TABLE or by calling KELLY at 250-426-3638 or CAROLIN at 250-417-6593.

DID YOU KNOW: KOOTENAY is 29-14-2-2 against the EASTERN CONFERENCE this season (17-5-0-2 at home, 12-9-2-0 on the road, 0-2 in overtime, 4-1 in shootouts)...JAGGER DIRK has played in 297 WHL career games...TIM BOZON recorded his 100th WHL career goal in BRANDON on February 15 (KAMLOOPS / KOOTENAY)…SAM REINHART has set a franchise record for most consecutive games with an assist at ten (January 29th to February 15th - eight games was the previous record)...REINHART, who is second in the WHL in assists with 53, is fourth in the LEAGUE in points with 84 (31-53-84) and is one off his career high of 85 points set during the 2012-2013 season…JAEDON DESCHENEAU, who is sixth in the WHL in goals scored with 37, is tied for fifth in the League in points with 82 (37-45-82)...MACKENZIE SKAPSKI, who is tied for fifth in the League in save percentage (.919), is ninth in the WHL in goals against average (2.65)...TYLER KING played in his 150th WHL career game on February 14 against the WHEAT KINGS (SPOKANE / KOOTENAY).

SCORING STREAK: SAM REINHART (15-23-38) has recorded at least a point in the last 17 games he has played in.

INJURIES: Forward KYLE O'CONNOR will be out of the KOOTENAY line up one to two weeks with a lower body injury...Forward JON MARTIN will be out of the ICE line up two to three weeks due to an illness...Forward RYAN CHYNOWETH will be of the KOOTENAY line up for an undetermined amount of time with an upper body injury...Defenseman TANNER FAITH will be out of the ICE line up three to five months with an upper body injury.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 59 games of the 2012-2013 season the ICE were 28-29-2-0, after 60 games 29-29-2-0 and after 61 games were 30-29-2-0.
