Tyler King played overtime hero as the Kootenay ICE completed a wild comeback to stun the Everett Silvertips 4-3 Sunday at Xfinity Arena.

Kootenay trailed 3-0 after 40 minutes, but four unanswered goals helped the ICE finish their West Coast swing with a winning record, and a 10-2-0-0 overall mark in the month of November.

Kootenay, fresh off a comeback victory Saturday at Seattle, fell behind 6:42 into the second period Sunday, as Montreal Canadiens first-rounder Nikita Scherbak scored his 12th goal of the season.

Patrick Bajkov and Carson Stadnyk added further offense for the Silvertips, who outshot the ICE 19-14 through two periods.

But Kootenay, playing its third game in as many days, found their spark in period three.

First, Tim Bozon fired home his ninth goal of the season at 1:35 to put the ICE on the board, before fellow import Rinat Valiev capitalized on a Kootenay power play five minutes later to cut the ICE deficit to 3-2.

Defenseman Tanner Faith, who returned to action Friday in Portland after missing nine games with an injury, forced overtime with 6:08 left to play in the third period, scoring his first goal of the season.

Kootenay had not lost in four trips to to overtime entering play Sunday, and kept their winning streak intact when King put home his second goal of the season 3:08 into extra time, completing the comeback. It was King's second career overtime winner, and first as a member of the ICE.

Wyatt Hoflin stopped 19 shots in goal to record his 13th victory of the season, while rookie Carter Hart made 26 saves for Everett.

Bozon reached 250 career WHL points Sunday, assisting on King's game-winner. Forwards Sam Reinhart and Jaedon Descheneau upped their point streaks to 11 and ten games, respectively.

Kootenay went 1/2 on the power play Sunday, marking eight consecutive games in which the ICE have scored a power play goal.

UP NEXT: the ICE return home to host the Spokane Chiefs Friday, December 5th, on A&W Teddy Bear, Toque and Mitten Toss Night. Bring your gently used teddy bears, toques and mittens to the game, and throw them on the ice when the ICE scores its first goal. Game time is 7:00 pm at Western Financial Place.
