Saskatoon @ Kootenay Game #59

The Kootenay ICE will host Saskatoon tonight.
It's the 4th and final meeting of the season, the ICE lead the season series 2-1.
The ICE are coming off a 5-2 win in Edmonton on Friday.
The Blades are playing their 3rd road game in 3 nights after earning wins in Medicine Hat and Lethbridge.
ICE are 4th in the Conference and the Blades are 1st.
ICE are 3 points behind Calgary and 3 ahead of Medicine Hat. The Hitmen play this afternoon, so by gametime the ICE could be up to 5 points behind.
Dustin Sylvester has 6 points in his last 2 games and is in 3rd placed in the WHL scoring race, 1 point behind Craig Cunningham and Jordan Eberle.
The ICE magic number to clinch a playoff spot is 11 points.
Blades magic number is 4 points.

Brock Montgomery suffererd a should injury on Friday and will be out of the line-up for at least 2 weeks.

In a side note, Edmonton and Prince George were officially eliminated from the playoffs yesterday.
