Cranbrook, BC – Calgary goalie Martin Jones got his 3rd consecutive shutout in a 6-0 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Saturday night.
Calgary opened the scoring on the powerplay as Kris Foucault fired a wrist shot high on the glove side.
On another powerplay made it 2-0 as Misha Fisenko one-timed a slap shot.
Foucault scored his 2nd of the game on breakaway and tucked it in on the backhand.
In the third period Foucault completed the hat trick with a long shot high on the glove side.
ICE changed goalies as Nathan Lieuwen replaced Todd Mathews.
On a power-play Joel Broda completed a 3-way passing play and scored into an empty net.
On a goal mouth scramble Ian Schultz pushed it over the goalie line.
The ICE have lost 5 home games in a row.
