The Kootenay ICE handed out their twelfth annual team awards prior to the start of the game against the Edmonton Oil Kings tonight. Seven different players were recognized for their achievements. The individual winners are listed below:

East Kootenay Community Credit Union Community Relations Award – Matt Fraser
Rocky Mountain Diesel Scholastic Player of the Year – Nathan Lieuwen
Jewels on Ninth Player of the Month – Joey Leach
