The Kootenay ICE will play their final round robin game of the Memorial Cup against the QMJHL Champion Saint John Sea Dogs.
An ICE win will put them into Thursday's tiebreaker game against the loser of tomorrow's game between Owen Sound and Mississauga.
A loss and the ICE are out of the tournament.
The ICE will have to win 4 games in a row to win the Memorial Cup.
The only team to start the tournament 0-2 and win the Memorial Cup was the 2009 Windsor Spitfires.
Saint John (2-0) has qualified for Sunday's final.
Brayden McNabb will return after sitting out a 1 game suspension.
ICE will not face former Wheat King/Thunderbird Jacob DeSerres as the Sea Dogs' goalie will be Mathieu Corbeil.
Top defenseman Simon Despres (Pittsbirgh 1st round pick) and scoring forward Michael Kirkpatrick (4 points in tournament) will also sit out.
