Swift Current 4 Kootenay 0 Game #33

Swift Current, Sask – Swift Current goalie Landon Bow made 20 saves for his 1st career win and shutout and Adam Lowry had 3 goals in a 4-0 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Sunday night.

The Broncos (15-17-3-2) opened the scoring early in the second period on a 2-on-1 break with Graham Black banging-in his own rebound.
The Broncos took a 2-0 lead with a Levi Bews shot going off the Adam Lowry’s skate into the net.
The ICE gave up a season high 24 shots against in the period.

Early in the third the Broncos made it 3-0 with Adam Lowry scoring with a wrist shot high on the glove side.
It’s the 20th time a player has had a multi-goal game against the ICE.
Lowry completed the hat-trick with a powerplay rebound goal

The ICE (10-22-1-0) have been shutout 3 times this season.

The ICE will visit Red Deer on Tuesday.

Because of injuries the ICE were one skater short of a complete line-up.
The ICE had no 20-year-olds and only 3 19-year-olds in the line-up.
