ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 9-19-1-0 record (7-10-1-0 at home, 2-9-0-0 on the road, 1-1 in overtime, 1-0 in shootouts) and in sixth place in the CENTRAL DIVISION...The ICE will play four of their next five games on the road before breaking for Christmas (December 19 - 27).

DID YOU KNOW: TANNER FAITH recorded his first WHL career assist on December 7 against PRINCE ALBERT...SAM REINHART played in his 100th WHL career game on December 8 in LETHBRIDGE...JAGGER DIRK, who needs to play in two more games to reach 200, recorded his 50th WHL career assist against the HURRICANES on December 8...COLLIN SHIRLEY has been named to TEAM WEST for the 2013 WORLD U-17 CHALLENGE in VICTORIAVILLE / DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC (December 29 – January 4).

INJURIES: Defenseman JOEY LEACH will be out of the KOOTENAY line up one to three weeks with an upper body injury...Defenseman TANNER MUTH and Forward BROCK MONTGOMERY will both be out of the ICE line up one to two weeks with upper body injuries.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 29 games of the 2011-2012 season the ICE were 19-7-1-2, after 30 games 19-8-1-2 and after 31 games 19-9-1-2.
