Brandon @ Kootenay Game #17

The Kootenay ICE will host Brandon tonight.
This is the 2nd meeting of the year, earlier this month the ICE won 7-3 in Brandon. The ICE are on a 4-game losing streak and 3 of the losses have come at the Rec-Plex. During the home stand the ICE have scored 2 goals.
Brandon just finished a U.S road trip and earned 7 of a possible 10 points.
The clubs’ leading goal scorer Matt Fraser suffered a minor knee injury and will be out the next couple of weeks.
Steele Boomer leads the ICE with 16 points and is the only player averaging a point-a-game.
Brandon is led in scoring by Jay Fehr with 10 goals and 22 points.
The ICE will wrap up the month of October, so far 3 wins in 12 games.
It’s been a frustrating month for the ICE who have lost close to 50 man games to injury.
The ICE have fallen to last place in the Conference but are only 3 wins away from moving up 5 spots in the standings.
Brandon is tied for 3rd in the Conference.
