Swift Current 3 Kootenay 1 Game #10

The Kootenay ICE finished their 6-game 10-day road trip with a 3-1 loss in Swift Current.
Brayden MacNabb scored their only goal and has points in 10 of 11 games.
The ICE were credited with 17 shots on goal but feel there was 30 other attempts that were blocked. In other words, good job by the Broncos.
The ICE end the trip with a 2-4-0-0 record and now have a record of 4-7-0-0.
The ICE were without 5 regulars from their lineup as Dustin Sylvester missed his 3rd game (neck day-to-day), Drew Czerwonka 8th game (leg, 2-4 weeks), Christian Magnus 9th game (finger 2-4 weeks) and Petr Senkerik 2nd game (shoulder day-to-day). Plus the ICE will look to add another over-ager this week.
The last 3 games of the road trip the club played their best team defense of the sesson.
The last couple of games the club struggled to get enough quality scoring chances.
The ICE had a combined 9 power-play chances in their last 4 games which is a sign they aren't forcing the opposition into taking penalties.
In 11 games this season the ICE have held the lead after 2 period two times. They have trailed 8 times and were tied once.
The ICE will host Spokane on Friday.
