Everett 4 Kootenay 1 Game #16

Cranbrook, BC – Everett Silvertip forward Shane Harper had 2 goals and 1 assist in 4-1 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Wednesday night.

Everett got the 1st goal of the game after creating a 3-on-1 break and eventually scored on a goal mouth scramble and then was put into the net by Shane Harper.
Everett added 2 power-play goals in the final minute of the 2nd period. On a 2-man advantage defenseman Rasmus Rissanen scored on a one-timer from the middle of the slot.
With less than 1 second to go in the period Chris Langkow scored on a mini breakway after receiving a pass from Kellan Tochkin.

The ICE ended a goal scoring drought of 156:54 as Matt Fraser scored on a one timer after receiving a pass from Steele Boomer.
Everett added an empty netter as Harper got his 2nd of the game.

The ICE have lost 4 games in a row.

The attendance was the smallest in regular season history at the Rec-Plex.

This was the only meeting of the year between the clubs.
Last year the ICE won 6-3 in Everett.
The last meeting in Cranbrook was November 9th, 2007 and the ICE won 8-2.

The ICE 5-game homestand continues on Friday against Brandon.

This was game 1 of a 6-game trip through the Central Division for Everett.
