Cranbrook, BC – Kootenay ICE defenseman Hayden Rintoul and forward Kevin King had 2 goal games in a 4-1 win over Prince Albert in WHL action on Friday night.
Raiders opened the scoring on a shorthanded 2-on-1 break and Brandon Herron coming down the left wing scored on a wrist shot.
ICE tied the game on a powerplay as defenseman Hayden Rintoul sailed a high wrist shot from the boards and beat the screened goalie.
After a scoreless second period the ICE scored a powerplay goal early in the 3rd period as Hayden Rintoul wristed a shot from the top of the circle that beat the goal high on the glove side.
The ICE increased the lead 3-1 on a 2-on-1 break as Dustin Sylvester from the corner put a pass in the low slot that found Kevin King in the low slot and scored on a one time wrist shot.
King added one into an empty net.
