Kootenay 8 Swift Current 6 Game #47

Kootenay ICE forward Steele Boomer got his 1st career hat trick in an 8-6 win in Swift Current.
The ICE have now won 13 games in a row.
Dustin Sylvester tied a Franchise Record with 4 assists in a period and had a career high 5 point game. (Trevor Johnson had 4 assists in a period Sept 23/00 in Calgary)
Kevin King had his second career 4 point game with 4 assists.
Other goals came from Hayden Rintoul, Brayden McNabb, Matt Fraser, Jesse Ismond and Sylvester.
Ismond and Fraser had 3 point performances.
Todd Mathews earned the win and has tied a team record with 10 wins in a row.
(Jeff Glass had 10 straight wins January 7-19/05)
Mathews left the game when the score was 7-6 and Nathan Lieuwen came into the game in relief.
The ICE have scored 8 goals in a game 5 times this season.
