ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week’s action with a 19-7-1-2 record (9-3-1-1 at home, 10-4-0-1 on the road, 0-1 in overtime, 2-2 in shootouts) and in second place in the CENTRAL DIVISION and fourth in the WHL…The ICE will play five of their next seven games on the road before breaking for Christmas (December 19 – 27).

INJURY: Defenseman HAYDEN RINTOUL will be out of the ICE line up one to two weeks with a knee injury.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 28 games of the 2009-2010 season the ICE were 13-13-1-1, after 29 games 14-13-1-1 and after 30 games 15-13-1-1.
