Reinhart Canada Camp Invite?
Monday morning at 9:30 Hockey Canada will announce their selection camp roster.
Max Reinhart was not at the summer Development camp but did play in 2 games for Team WHL against Team Russia earlier this month.
After my interview with Vancouver Head Coach Don Hay, who is Canada's Head Coach, I asked him about Reinhart's play in the games and he said Reinhart played really good.
On Friday I asked Kelowna Head Coach Ryan Huska, who is an Assistant Coach with Canada again this season, about Reinhart receiving some consideration for the roster.
"Well he's impressed guys I think with his play at the (WHL vs Russia) games. He did what we kind of expected him to do. He worked hard, he was a guy who looked like he could generate some offence but he also looked very responsible defensively. And if anybody knows Don Hay, he likes guys that are solid 2-way players that will compete and those are the types of guys he wants to make up his team."

Kootenay @ Victoria Game #22
The Kootenay ICE are in Victoria tonight for their only meeting of the year.
This is the first ever game for the ICE in Victoria.
The Victoria Cougars moved to Prince George in 1994.
The ICE joined the WHL in 1996.
Last season in Cranbrook the then Chilliwack Bruins won 6-2.
Last meeting in Chilliwack was December 1/09 and the ICE won 7-2.
The ICE finished a 7-game homestand with a 4-2-1, with all 3 losses 1-goal decisions.
This is the start of a B.C. Division road trip which will be followed by a Saskatchewan trip adding up to 9 straight road games.
Victoria lost 11-3 in Vancouver last night.
The Cougars have 5 players (Sundher, Hodges, Crooks, Nelson, Soudek) with 9 or more goals and the ICE (M.Reinhart) have one.
Because of a violation of team rules the ICE will have one veteran player sitting out a game in each of the next six games.
Earlier this month the ICE had three rookie players sit out games because of Educational reasons.
Eric Benoit is out 1-2 weeks with an upper body injury.
After missing 15 games to a leg injury Brendan Hurley is available to play during the trip.
Listen for the Pre-Game Show at 7:30 on The Drive.
There will be election updates during the broadcast.
