ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week's action with a 13-5-1-2 record (10-3-1-0 at home, 3-2-0-2 on the road, 0-1-2 in overtime) and are in third place in the CENTRAL DIVISION and sixth in the WHL…KOOTENAY was ranked sixth in the BMO CHL MASTERCARD TOP 10 RANKINGS for the week of November 7...The ICE will now embark on a nine game two week road trip from November 19 to December 4 including five games in seven days as they travel through the BC DIVISION.

SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS: The sale of SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS continues…You get seven game certificates to use at your convenience – total flexibility…SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS are available in Adult, Senior, Student and Youth packages. Adults are $119.00, Seniors $91.00, Students $77.00 and Youth $63.00.

RECORD BOOK: The KOOTENAY ICE RECORD BOOK is now available online...If you want to know all the Club's stats and history you just have to go to www.kootenayice.net and under TEAM to RECORD BOOK.

SAVE ON FOODS: The 2011-2012 SAVE ON FOODS VOUCHERS are now available…Customers can purchase the ticket vouchers at the CRANBROOK SAVE ON FOODS location for all remaining KOOTENAY ICE regular season home games…Cardholders can pick them up for $19.00 including HST or for free with the redemption of 8,000 SAVE ON MORE points…Non-Cardholders can get their vouchers for $21.00 including HST.

DID YOU KNOW: KOOTENAY is 11-2-0-1 when they score the first goal of the game and 2-3-1-1 when their opponent scores first...The ICE are 8-3-1-1 when outshooting their opponent, 4-2-0-1 when being outshot and 1-0-0-0 when the shots are tied...KOOTENAY is 19th on the power play in the WHL at 20.0%...The ICE are 14th in penalty killing in the LEAGUE at 78.0%...MAX REINHART will play for TEAM WHL in the SUBWAY SUPER SERIES this week (REGINA - November 16, MOOSE JAW - November 17)...NATHAN LIEUWEN, who is second among goaltenders in the LEAGUE in goals against average (1.86), is second in franchise history for games played by a goaltender with 138 (JEFF GLASS - 143)...JEFF HUBIC recorded his first WHL career point with an assist against SEATTLE on November 12...JESSE ISMOND recorded his third WHL career hat trick on November 9th against TRI-CITY...JOE ANTILLA played in his 290th career game with the ICE on November 13 against SASKATOON...DREW CZERWONKA played in his 190th game with the ICE against the BLADES on November 13.

INJURIES: ERIK BENOIT will be out of the ICE line up one to two weeks with an upper body injury....BRENDAN HURLEY will be out of the KOOTENAY line up one week with a lower body injury.

ONE YEAR AGO: After 21 games of the 2010-2011 season the ICE were 15-4-0-2, after 22 games 15-5-0-2 and after 23 games 16-5-0-2.
