ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week’s action with a 34-17-1-2 record (19-6-1-1 at home, 15-11-0-1 on the road, 1-1 in overtime, 3-2 in shootouts) and in third place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE and fifth in the WHL…The ICE will play their next five games against the EASTERN CONFERENCE.
JERSEY OFF THE BACK NIGHT: On February 18th when KOOTENAY hosts MEDICINE HAT it will be JERSEY OFF THE BACK NIGHT…Fans at the game will have the opportunity to bid on the new third RBK Edge Jerseys…The winning bid on each jersey will get to meet the player after the game and will receive their jersey at the conclusion of the playoffs…All the money raised will go to the KOOTENAY ICE Scholarship Fund.
SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS: The sale of SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS continues…You get seven game certificates to use at your convenience – total flexibility…SUPER SEVEN FLEX PAKS are available in Adult, Senior, Student and Youth packages. Adults are $119.00, Seniors $91.00, Students $77.00 and Youth $63.00…On each package you save $3.00 per game over the walk-up ticket prices.
SAVE ON FOODS: The 2010-2011 SAVE ON FOODS VOUCHERS are still available…Customers can purchase the ticket vouchers at the CRANBROOK SAVE ON FOODS location for all remaining KOOTENAY ICE regular season home games…Cardholders can pick them up for $18.00 including HST or for free with the redemption of 8,000 SAVE ON MORE points…Non-Cardholders can get their vouchers for $20.00 including HST.
DINNER AND A GAME: The KOOTENAY ICE along with COYOTE JACK’S GRILL have announced that fans can now purchase a restaurant seat and a meal for $25.00 for any remaining regular season home game…The meal will be off of a special COYOTE JACK’S GRILL menu that includes burgers, sandwiches, nachos and more…Limited seating is available and tickets can be purchased at the KOOTENAY ICE OFFICE.

KEVIN KING has recorded 206 points in his WHL career (84-122-206)…JOHN NEIBRANDT recorded his first WHL career goal February 1st against CALGARY…BRAYDEN MCNABB, who has played in 241 games with KOOTENAY, tied a franchise record for most career goals by a defenseman with 43 against CALGARY on February 1st (STEVE MCCARTHY – 43)…JOE ANTILLA played in his 250th career game on February 2nd against CALGARY.
