ICE CHIPS: The KOOTENAY ICE enter this week’s action with a 37-17-1-2 record (20-6-1-1 at home, 17-11-0-1 on the road, 1-1 in overtime, 3-2 in shootouts) and third place in the EASTERN CONFERENCE and fifth in the WHL…The ICE will finish the 2010-2011 regular season with an above .500 record for the 12th consecutive season, which is the longest active streak in the WESTERN HOCKEY LEAGUE…KOOTENAY has clinched a playoff spot for the 13th consecutive season and tied CALGARY for the longest active streak in the WHL…The ICE have 15 games remaining in the 2010-2011 regular season (eight at home, seven on the road).
JERSEY OFF THE BACK NIGHT: On February 18th when KOOTENAY hosts MEDICINE HAT it will be JERSEY OFF THE BACK NIGHT…Fans at the game will have the opportunity to bid on the new third RBK Edge Jerseys…The winning bid on each jersey will get to meet the player after the game and will receive their jersey at the conclusion of the playoffs…All the money raised will go to the KOOTENAY ICE Scholarship Fund.
