The Kootenay ICe have received some good news on forward Drew Czerwonka who has been given the green light to return to skating.
Czerwonka did not take part in training camp after suffering an off-season upper body injury.
He is 2-3 weeks away from returning to the line-up and may miss the start of the regular season.
Czerwonka is one of 5 over-agers on the roster (Dylen McKinlay, Brock Montgomery, Joey Leach, Elgin Pearce).
The ICE will play Lethbridge in the Crowsnest pass tomorrow.
