Kootenay @ Calgary Game #2 Preview

The Kootenay ICE are in Calgary tonight in the first of 8 meetings this season.
Last season the ICE won the season series with a record of 5-2-1-0.
Kootenay opened the season with a 5-3 loss in Edmonton on Thursday.
Last night Calgary played in Red Deer and won 3-2.
Cody Sylvester (brother of former ICE Captain Dustin) leads the club with 2 goals and 3 points.
After missing the playoffs in 2011, last year the Hitmen finished third overall in the Eastern Conference. They lost in the first round of the playoffs to Brandon in five games.
Victor Rask will be attending the AHL Charlotte Checkers training camp leaving his return to Calgary up in the air for now.
The ICE have 5 players from Calgary (Tanner Muth, Matthew Thomas, Kyle O’Connor, Eric Benoit, Kyle Krabben) and one from Canmore (Luke Philp).
The Calgary Flames, who own the Hitmen, drafted Joey Leach in the 3rd round of the 2010 Bantam Draft but did not sign him to a contract.
