Brandon @ Kootenay

The Kootenay ICE will host Brandon Tuesday night in game 3 of their playoff series.
After losing by scores of 7-2 and 4-1 the ICE find themselves down 2-0 in the series.
But the ICE also know that 3 of the next 4 games are scheduled to be played at the Rec-Plex and can get back in the series with some wins on home ice.
To finish the regular season the ICE won 8 of their last 11 homes, with 1 of the 3 losses in an overtime shootout.
During the regular season the clubs split the 2 meetings at the Rec-Plex and both were low scoring 3-2 games.
The ICE have scored only 3 goals in the series so far, but have also hit more than enough goal posts and cross bars and have had enough scoring chances to give them a chance to win.
It’s the 3rd time in team history the ICE have lost the 1st games of a series on the road, the other 2 times they lost the series.
While the ICE are battling history they know they have yet to play their best hockey of the series and are coming off a game 2 loss that was a 1 goal game midway through the 3rd period.
