Since we had so many inquiries our newsroom has contacted Hurricanes' GM Roy Stasiuk on the status of goalie Juha Metsola.
He is doing fine and traveled home with the club after the game at the Rec-Plex.
He suffered a neck strain and a concussion.
Since it's playoff season teams are not required to submit an injury report so his status for the playoffs is not known.
