Cranbrook, BC – Red Deer goalie Darcy Kuemper made 3 saves in a 2-1 win over the Kotenay ICE in WHL action on Tuesday Night.
ICE opened the scoring on a power-play as Max Reinhart passed to Dominik Pacovsky near the net and he redirected the puck into the net.
Rebels tied the game 1-1 early in the 2nd period as Landon Ferraro scored on a partial breakaway with a wrist shot high on the glove side.
Rebels took a 2-1 lead on a defelection from Adam Kambeitz.
Ferraro added an empty netter.
ICE will visit Red Deer on Friday.
