Kootenay 2 Edmonton 1 Game #40

Edmonton, Alb – The Kootenay ICE scored 2 2nd period goals in a 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings in WHL action on Sunday night.

Brayden McNabb scored on a powerplay and Matt Fraser scored late in the period.

Nathan Lieuwen lost his shutout bid with 40 seconds left in the game.

Brayden McMabb extended his point streak to 11 games (7-8-15), Kevin King to 5 games (2-5-7), Joe Antilla 3 games (1-2-3) and Max Reinhart has points in 8 of 9 games (4-10-14).
