On his blog Greg Drinnan is reporting that ICE 2009 2nd Bantam pick Matt Benning has been offered a scholarship to Minnesota-Duluth.
After not reporting to ICE camp the past 2 years his rights were traded to Tri City for conditional 3rd and 6th round Bantam picks.
The 17-year-old defenseman is still on the Americans protected list.
