The Kootenay ICE will host the Portland Winterhawks tonight in their only meeting of the season.
Last year in the regular season the ICE won 5-3 in Portland.
In the playoff the ICE won the WHL Final 4-games-to-1.
For the 3rd time this season the ICE are on a 3 game winning streak and have won 6 of their last 7.
Their last game was a 3-2 win over Red Deer on Wednesday.
The Winterhawks are on a 9 game road trip and tonight will be their 6th game through the Central Division.
Last night the won 4-1 in Lethbridge and are 2-2-1 on the trip.
