Brandon 3 Kootenay 2

Cranbrook, BC – Brandon Wheat King forward Andrew Clark had 2 goals and 1 assist in a 3-2 win over the Kootenay ICE in WHL action on Wednesday night.

Brandon opened the scoring on a 2-on-1 break as Andrew Clark tapped in a pass near the crease.
Clark made it 2-0 on snap shot from the bottom of the right circle.
Then on a power-play Brandon made it 3-0 as Scott Glennie’s attempted pass deflected off the fallen goalie’s legs and dribbled across the goalie line.
ICE goalie Todd Mathews made his 1st start for Kootenay but was replaced at the start of the second by Nathan Lieuwen.
In the 3rd period the ICE got on the board on a power-play defelction from Tylan Stephens.
Andrew Bailey made it 3-2 as he found a loose puck and chipped it in for his 16th.

The ICE will visit Edmonton on Friday and Calgary on Saturday.
