The Kootenay ICE have announced that goalie Thomas Heemskerk has quit the club and has returned home to Chilliwack. GM Jeff Chynoweth says he was informed by Heemskerk that his heart wasn't into playing in the WHL anymore. The ICE will need an emergency back-up for their game tomorrow in Spokane.
