Cranbrook, BC – Kootenay ICE goalie Brett Teskey made 12 saves for his 1st career shutout in a 1-0 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings in WHL action on Saturday night.
After a scoreless 1st period the ICE got the only goal of the game in the 2nd period as Adam Rossignol fed Elgin Pearce in the high slot who scored on a wrist shot on the stick side.
The ICE have 5 shutouts this season (3 Nathan Lieuwen, 1 Todd Mathews, 1 Brett Teskey).
Christian Magnus left the game in the 3rd period after a leg on leg collision.
