He takes the place of Simon Skrudland who is out with the flu.
Bloom is a 16-year-old forward who plays for the Calgary Buffalos of the Alberta AAA Midget League.
Selected in the 2nd round of the 2008 Bantam Draft.
In the preseason he played 2 games and scored a goal.
Last year in Alberta Bantam he played 32 games with 42 goals 41 assists for 83 points.
