Saskatchewan doubled BC 4-2 to capture the Bronze medal on the final day of competition at the 2009 Western Canada Under 16 Challenge Cup in Blackfalds, AB.
Player of the game for BC was Mackenzie Skapski who was selected by the ICE in the 3rd round of the 2009 Bantam Draft.
Ice 1st round pick Colby Cave and 8th round pick Jared Iron win bronze medals with Team Saskatchewan.
Alberta beat Manitoba 6-4 to win the GOLD medal game.
