The Chicago Blackhawks have released Kootenay ICE forward Steele Boomer. He was at the pro camp on an invite. The only ICE player at an NHL camp is Brayden McNabb who is with Buffalo.
Boomer is one of 4 overagers (King, Fraser, Mathews).
The club will be allowed to only have 3 in the line-up and have until Mid-October to decide which 3 will stay with the club.
