The Kootenay ICE (0-4) will play their final preseason game tonight in Spokane.
The game will be played at the Eagles Ice-A-Rena at 7pm (8pm Cranbrook).
Not sure if there will be internet access for regular updates on the blog, but I will have period reports on the radio.
With players returning from NHL camps and minor injuries to a couple of veterans I'm not sure of who will be in the lineup.
The ICE have used the preseason to evaluate the prospects who are trying to earn a spot in the lineup and to give the younger returning vets time to get ready for the season.
ICE fans should not be discouraged with the winless exhibition season.
The clubs' top 5 forwards and top 3 defensemen have been unavailable.
They have been playing against U.S. Division teams who have been together 1-2 weeks longer and with more veterans in the lineup.
The ICE are really hoping the players use the game as a last chance to make the final roster and play their best game of preseason.
