ICE host Prince Albert & Chilliwack

The ICE open a 5-game homestand on Friday with Prince Albert and Saturday against Chilliwack.
Last year the ICE won the season series against the Raiders 3-1. Overall in the last 3 seasons the ICE are 9-1-0-0 vs P.A.
Players to watch - 3 20-year-old forwards Justin Bernhardt, Matt Robertson and Ryan McDonald & Dustin Cameron lead the team in scoring.
In their history the ICE are 2-1 vs Chilliwack. The loss was in overtime. The road team has won every time the clubs' have met. The Bruins have only played 1 game in Cranbrook and that was February 10/07.
Players to watch - Ryan Howse (3rd overall pick in 2006 Bantam Draft) & Kevin Sundher (7th overall pick in 2007 Bantam Draft).
Chilliwack have made the playoffs in their 1st 2 years in the league but still finished low enough in the standings to get some high draft picks.
Head Coach in Jim Hiller who was born in Port Alberni and was raised in Cranbrook. In 1989 he was traded to Detroit w/Paul Coffey & Sylvain Cloutier for Jimmy Carson, Marc Potvin & Gary Shuchuk. He also won a Provincial Championship in the KIJHL with Cranbrook.
