The Kootenay ICE will host Medicine Hat Friday night at the Rec-Plex.
This is the 2nd meeting of the year between the clubs. On October 13th the ICE won 4-3 in an overtime shootout in Medicine Hat.
The ICE are looking to put the finishing touches on a solid month of October. In the 13 games so far this month the ICE have earned 17 of a possible 26 points.
The Tigers have only played 10 games this month and are 2 games above .500 for the month.
This is the 1st time the Tigers have been in Cranbrook since last seasons’ 1st round playoff match-up.

The ICE are 5 points ahead of the Tigers in the standings but the Tigers have 5 games in hand.
The ICE are back home after a come from behind win over Red Deer on Wednesday.
The Tigers haven’t played since Saturday when they lost at home to Calgary. Specialty teams could be the difference tonight as the Tigers’ are ranked 4th on the PP and 2nd on the PK.
It’s the start of tough games for the ICE who visit Spokane tomorrow and play Calgary twice next week.
